Adult Forums
We invite you to join us as we deepen our knowledge of and relationship with Jesus!
We have several offering for adult continued learning at St. Francis. We aim to offer relevant and timely topics that help us apply Christian concepts to our everyday lives and experiences, and to contextualize current events. We offer weekly Bible study, Sunday adult forums, prayer groups, book discussions, and parenting forums, among other things. These thought-provoking offerings cover a wide range of topics including Christian literature and music, Scriptural texts, parenting, praying, past and present Christian leaders, science & religion, emotional & mental health, world religions, and current affairs.
- Sunday Adult Forums are held during the school year from 10:30am – 11:30am, and begin with time for coffee, tea and donuts. We also periodically split up into small groups for discussion. Sometimes, we have simultaneous forums that cover different topics and are geared toward different groups.
- Our lively Rector’s Bible Study group meets most Tuesdays at 11am, after our Holy Eucharist service. We usually have more than 20 parishioners who come to listen, learn, and discuss. We invite you to join us!
- An Inquirer’s Class for those interested in becoming new members of Saint Francis or in refreshing their understanding of the core teachings of our faith is geared toward teenagers and adults.
- Small Groups, Discernment Groups, Prayer Groups, and Book Clubs also meet throughout the year.
Check our calendar for a current listing of these offerings.
