A quiet, traditional Communion service with homily.  Free child care is provided in the cribbery for infants and preschoolers.  School-age children are invited to participate in children’s chapel during the service.

9:15 am | The Holy Eucharist, Rite I

(1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays)

Please join us for a traditional Rite I liturgy with hymns and a sermon.  The music is provided by the St. Francis Choir, under the direction of Gary Davison.  The sermon is usually given by Father Mark Michael, rector.  Free child care is provided in the cribbery, located in St. Francis Hall, under the watchful eye of Sarah Hirich.  During the service, school-age children are led out to enjoy their own children’s chapel.

10:30 am  |  Adult Education and Sunday School, St. Francis Hall

Complimentary Sunday school is offered immediately after the 9:15 service under Melisssa Beall’s leadership in St. Francis Hall.  Meanwhile, the adults gather in the hall for an adult forum on a religious topic; coffee and doughnuts are always provided with a suggested $1 donation requested.  For high schoolers, the youth group gathers in the Glenolden House, where youth minister Tony Carr directs their activities.  For more information, please contact Tracy Holmes in the parish office at (301) 365-2055.
