Trip Registration
ST FRANCIS YOUTH TRIP REGISTRATION POLICY
In an attempt to be better stewards of the youth budget these policies will take effect immediately for all future trips. Please read the following carefully so there is no confusion about registration policy.
$100 Deposit – Due
February 7th (January 24th for the ski trip)
For all trips I will need a $100 deposit to reserve a space for a student. In the case of the mission trip that deposit will be given along with the application. This amount is fully refundable up until the deposit due date. Deposits for Summer Trips are due by February 7th and by January 24th for the ski trip. However, I cannot guarantee space on the trips we want unless I sign up for them this month, so if you know now that your student can go please put in a deposit as soon as possible so I know how many spaces to sign up for. After February 7th these deposits are non-refundable.
Half Balance – March
7th, 2010
Half of the remanding balances, after any deposit made, are due on March 7th. As with the deposit, this amount is non-refundable after March 7th, even payment was made after due date.
Final Balance – May 2nd,
2010
This works exactly as the half balance and is due May 2nd. This is when the remainder is due and also when this amount becomes non-refundable.
Late Registration
Sign-ups will be allowed after February 7th with
an additional late fee (that I have to pay every year but have never charged
for), these fees are different for each trip and are noted on the schedule. The
total deposit due will be the amount you would have had to pay plus the late
fee. So if you sign up after the Half Balance date it will cost the deposit,
half balance and late fee to register for a given trip. In addition to this, sometimes there is
greater cost to me (change in transportation needs, housing needs, staffing
needs) when numbers increase and this cost may also need to be added for
extremely late registrations.
There is still financial aid available for those who need it. If you need assistance for your student to attend any trip please call David so it can be provided. This registration policy is not in place due to an issue with providing aid for a student to attend trips, but due to the need for those who sign up to pay what they have committed to.
