This page features, as yet, but three of the ginormous schedule of Student Ministries events this summer. It will be updated by mid-June to reflect in chronological order all the scheduled events of Student Ministries this summer.

Fun In The Son 2012, June 25-29 - Ocean City, MD
The Fun in the Son trip is the high school retreat through YCM, the same organization who puts on the Great Escape. This year will be held in Ocean City, MD, and will be a week filled with great speakers, devotional time, praise and worship, and as always, Games! Also included is the St. Francis staple of stepping back in the evenings and having good heart to heart conversations and really digging in to what life throws at us. If there is one thing that is true of this group, it is that they are crazier than almost any group, but when it is time to get into serious stuff, they are also deeper than any group!!

Mission Trip 2012, Navajo Reservation, Navajo Nation, AZ - July 8-14
The Mission trip this year to Arizona is going to happen in early July, and is going to be a great eye opening experience for those who haven't gone before and a great way to see God in action. Through hard work, vacation bible school, singing songs, praying, and having tons of fun, the students are going to be bringing Jesus' big love to a group of people who have not always experienced that love. More info on the trip will be available in the forth coming updates.

Great Escape 2012, July 30 - August 4
Great Escape is the original and still the best retreat for middle schoolers! Just ask anyone who has attended it. There will be speakers, worship, small groups, praise music, quiet times, games, and lots of fun. Our former Director of Student Ministries David Hirsch's new job is planning and running these retreats for an organization called YCM (Youth Conference Ministries). So David and Anna will both be there! 
    Cost includes all meals at the retreat site. Housing is in dormitories a the University of Pittsburgh/Johnstown. Transportation is by van. Download and submit the Great Escape Release Form.
