Worship
Services
Worship is at the heart of all we do. Welcome to Saint Francis. Our Sunday Service Schedule 8:00 am — Holy Eucharist, with homily, no music A quiet service in the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer. 9:00 am — Holy Eucharist, with sermon and music Our principal and most popular service, it includes hymns, sermon, and music with the Saint Francis choirs. 11:15 am — Holy Eucharist, with sermon and music Sunday Service childcare at both the 9 and 11:15 services is provided in the Cribbery located in the building adjacent to the church. Access the Cribbery via the church bell tower doors. Continue through the breezeway, entering the adjacent building. Go up the stairway and straight ahead. Ms. Sarah Harich is the Director of the Cribbery. "As long as you notice, and have to count, the steps you are not yet dancing but only learning to dance. The perfect church service would be one we were almost unaware of. Our attention would have been on God." — C. S. Lewis Anglican worship is choreographed. Every person in the congregation — not just the clergy — has lines to speak. The liturgy is a kind of dance. If you're new to it you may feel as if you're at a dance where it seems everyone knows the steps but you. We recognize that. Be patient with it, and with yourself. Chances are, two of the three people nearest you in the pew were not that long ago as new to the liturgy and self-conscious about it. Thus, the person next to you will be glad discreetly to assist you in keeping up, making you feel welcome and at home.
